Product Description

The Chinook salmon , Oncorhynchus tshawytscha, is a species of marine bony fish that is born and dies in freshwater, belonging to the Salmonidae family. It usually lives in the North Pacific Ocean, along the coasts of Alaska and California, while on the Asian side it is present in Japan. It is an anadromous species with epipelagic habits, although it can reach depths of 375 meters. Taller and more compressed than other types of salmon, it is distinguished by the black spots that cover its back and caudal fin. The back and head have a color ranging from dark green to blue, while the flanks are silvery and the belly is whitish.

Bruce Gore 's Chinook salmon is perfectly preserved; after freezing, it is glazed to protect the meat from dehydration and the fish's natural fats from oxidation.

Glazed in this way, salmon can be stored for long periods of time without losing quality. During processing, the real salmon is carefully cleaned and packaged in protective bags that will protect it from cross-contamination and allow the real frozen salmon to be stored better than fresh fish.

Istruzioni per l’uso

Decongelare in frigorifero a temperatura 0°-4° gradi almeno 6-8 ore prima dell' utilizzo

Alaska
